So im 19k up this month, but im not happy about it. Which is ridiculous really when i look back 8 months at my asprations this year. I am running bad, but playing ok, so time for a reality check. After earning 50k a month for the last 3 months, my aspirations have moved up considerably, but inevitably as a poker player i am going to have some bad months, and 2.5 ptbbs is a bad month in comparision to my usual win rate of 4.8ptbbs
target for this month is to hit 70k hands and hopefully some better variance will fall my way
In true spirit, why break the habit of a lifetime, ive started the month like a 3 legged donkey, again. This time its more painful though, im 8k down, and 8k below equity, i cant even win with a set. Im as near as i have been to tilting though, which has surprised me as i thought i had put those issues behind me, the final realisation when i stuck it all in pre flop with J9 off, after squeezing, then thinking, oh bollocks to it after 2 others stuck it in.
its going to be an uphill challenge not to have my first losing month i think
